This is one of those places that I would describe as a bit of a dive. But the food is outstanding, The quality and quantity of the dishes are amazing. You definitely will not leave this place hungry. In fact most of the time we have to take most of the food home. Highly recommended

I tried this place for the first time and was not disappointed. Had the BBQ Duck soup and it was so good. It was a nice portion size and the duck was very well cooked. Look forward to dining there again.

Fortune Cooking is a hidden gem in the Winnipeg restaurant scene. It is easy to overlook from the outside as it looks more like a commercial spot than a restaurant.The daily lunch special is inexpensive and plentiful. The wonton soup is superb, as is everything else I’ve tasted on the menu. I’m always up for lunch here when I’m in the city.

My bf and myself just had supper there and it was absolutely amazing… the food was delicious ans the atmosphere was calming ans the restaurant is very quint and the server was super nice a lovely place to eat xo

First time coming to this place, just googled what Chinese restaurants were near my hotel (Vic). Service was good, food was great, staff friendly. Definitely be coming back when I come back to Winnipeg!

The last time i ate here was 2014,then 2022 I tried it and the food was awesome the fried dry veal was delicious perfect with sizzling seafood in black bean sauce.The fried dry veal sauce isnt that great but put salt and chili oil the taste will be good..
